This oil is very rich in vitamin D3 (2.9 micrograms per 100 g product) and essential fatty acids such as Omega 3 from cod liver. The fish oil contains 30% canola oil. Canola oil is the plant oil with the highest content of vegetable Omega 3, equivalent to approx. 11-13%. In addition, canola oil is rich in vitamin E and vitamin K.
•Barnehagebrødet bread contains whole grains that are ground just before the baking process (done manually), which preserves the vitamins and minerals from the crust in the bread.

The most important grain varieties are:
•Whole wheat and wholemeal contain many proteins, B-vitamin (thiamine), iron and dietary fibre. Accordingly, this provides good baking properties, and therefore our bread contains mostly whole wheat and whole meal.

•Barley has high fibre content (beta-glucan), antioxidants, B vitamins and minerals. According to Nofima - The Norwegian Institute of Food, Fisheries and Aquaculture Research: Barley helps prevent cardiovascular disease, regulates blood sugar and "boosts" the immune system. Research shows that barley stabilises blood sugar, reduces the risk of cancer - especially of the breast, prostate and bowel while increasing the feeling of satiety, improving bowel function and preventing constipation.
•Oatmeal is the super grain and the healthiest of our grain species. Oats make you feel full, alert and provide you with better cholesterol. Oats have high fibre content with much beta-glucan which is slowly absorbed in the intestine as well as vitamin B and iron.
Barnehagebrødet bread stays moist and fresh a long time. Thus, there will be minimal "waste" - both in shops and in households.
